Questra Graphics can capture all or portions
of your recorded video tape to computer-readable files for a variety of uses,
including computer presentations, web-authoring and CD-Rom or DVD
publishing. If required, specific frames may be captured, enhanced and
either printed in color, or saved as a digital file. Examples include
"freezing" and printing a frame from a surveillance camera, to identify
intruders, or capturing a sports event picture for publishing in a company
newsletter. Input can be from VHS, 8mm or Hi-8.
Don't wait until
your old video tapes have deteriorated! A popular service is
conversion of video tapes to DVD to preserve them for posterity, or to share
with others. Enhancements include titles, search menus and musical
backgrounds.
Different formats are used around the world for video
recording, depending on the television formats in each country. For example, in the US
television and video use the NTSC format, while in Britain, the PAL format is used.
Consequently a video recorded for British use can normally not be played back on a Video
player in the States. To overcome this problem, Questra Graphics can convert your VHS
tapes to/from any combination of PAL, SECAM and NTSC and provide duplicate copies if
required.
